Predsol emema vs mesalamine enema

I was prescribed predsol enema couple of days ago as having quite a bad flare. I was taking asacol foam 1g enema but that wasn't making a huge difference. The predsol was given to me as a step before oral steroids.
Last night was my second night on the predsol. Was dreading them as used to the foam but found them very easy to use and no issues at all. The doc told me to use the predsol at night and mesalamine enema in the day.
Thing is I cannot keep the foam enema in during the day. Maybe 40 mins max? I start to feel bit sick etc and have to rush to the toilet to pass it.
Have no problem with the predsol enema at night.
Should I stop the mesalamine enema for now? As I can't seem to hold it in.
Also, when should I notice an improvement with the predsol enema? Last night was my 2nd dose and no improvement as of yet...

Ye was thinking about that. The problem is in all honesty the movements don't stop!!
I am currently going to the loo about every hour or so mainly just to strain and pass a bit of blood so I can't see me holding anything in during the day for any significant time.

Bloods were run on Friday night Quincy so suppose I will find out in couple of days for those but will ask for stool samples to be done tho hard to find the stool from the blood at the mo!!
