The only thing I can add is that if you do get a room you have to share that you try to get the "A" bed closer to the door and to the bathroom (I'm assuming it's the same everywhere). I've been in both "A" and "B" beds and while it may be a bit quieter in a B bed, you're more visible to staff in the A bed and closer to the bathroom without having to go through your roommate's space. thanks Alice - i'm gonna shoot for the penthouse suite, but if that doesn't transpire, i'll keep your advice in mind - i know in ICU i'll be solo, but after that, i dunno what they do -
