Bizarre symptoms...

... at least for me they are...

I've been having pretty bad cramps in the descending colon - couple of times they feel like sharp pains. Woke up today and was feeling queasy/nauseous - for the most part the blood has been a few streaks on the TP here and there though - and BM still were okay in the AM.

Just went to the bathroom - BM just in pieces and tp with the most bright red blood I've seen in weeks. Granted, I didn't use the prep H last night or this AM (because I tried the melsamine enema) so I still can't tell what the hell is going on. Just really discouraged, particularly since my GI doc really didnt say much to me when I saw him Monday about the cramps or anything and just said "come back in April and we'll do another blood test" (since the last one was in November.

Really go from stretches where I feel okay and don't even think about it - to a complete hypocondriac - who's supposed to go take my Mom to the theatre tomorrow and thinking I better cancel (as well as thinking about cancelling my trip to Rome next month)

Sorry - just needed to vent... and sick of googling: Stomach flu, Gald bladder attack, UC and nausea... etc.

The thing that threw me was the nausea on top of everything else. Feeling a little bit better so going to limit the food (just ate a banana) and going to go to the show since I paid over $300 for the tickets

Thanks Quincy - this has been a frustrating flare/pre flare to deal with. The nausea continued again - although I was able to eat again (keeping it to breads, some turkey, chicken soup) which has all been fine. Just felt that queasiness most of the day and still some cramps. So you're probably right -its inflamation. I went for Tuinia (Chinese medical therapy) yesterday where he basically massages the colon and he could feel the inflammation (as did I !!!)

Just sucks
