During my first severe flare I was prescribed uceris along with hydrocortisone enemas.
Within 3 days I experienced great pain relief and less sysmtoms. I have pan colitis.
Did 30 day course uceris and only seven days of the enemas because I really hate doing them. This was all about
1 year ago. Currently going through a mild flare. First since last years trearment.

Uceris was great for me a year or so ago, but it took a few weeks to kick in. When it did, it took effect slowly, but it really, really did the trick.

I had the same experience as songlady. Almost switched to pred after 3 weeks with no results. Week 4 I saw less blood and now I'm starting to have fewer BMs. That said, I went back on colazol at the same time so it could be a combo of those things. I am now heading into week 6 and wondering when is too soon to stop the Uceris. It's giving me insomnia and making me so hungry...but that's better than spending all day every day on the toilet!! So I don't want to quit too soon.
