Has anyone done this?
I believe they're testing for the IgG antibody, rather than the IgE antibody often looked for in common allergy testing.
Is it worth while? Helpful? Or just hole to put my money?
And as on infliximab and azathiopine (and prednisone but weaning off (& pentasa) ). Would these meds affect the antibody response and alter the results?

Allergy and UC ....separate. Worth testing, yes. But learn to recognise the difference.

Hi,
Yes, these meds affect the antibody response and alter the results. I think it was written in the paper company of the IgG test that I did. I did it anyway, even if I was on IFX and Pred.
I did that one in Canada : http://rmalab.com/medical-laboratory-tests/allergy/igg-sensitivity
It's a lot of money, but overall I'm glad I've done it.. It's a complement to UC triggers and IBS triggers (if you have it too). And also, unfortunately, the results are suppose to change during a lifetime.
