That's a pretty extensive list. I have done option 1: prednisone + vsl + SCD with good results, but I sometimes feel there is a gamble with probiotics (when there's an excess of bacteria in the gut they often compete against one another, weakening effectiveness). Option 4: I currently take every other day even in remission ( I don't eat meat often and don't get enough sun)
Option 2 sounds great. I might look into it myself, but out of those ingredients- L-Glutamine, Pectin, Licorice root, Aloe vera and Marshmallow I've taken either in supplements or herbal teas and believe they each played a role in decreasing inflammation/discomfort. (Also significantly managing side effects from immunosuppressants.)
If you've had success with SCD in the past, I'm sure these supplements will aid you in your recovery with UC and most likely overall health too.
