I think I am still in remission, although I have been having diarrhea several times a week, but no blood or mucus. I have been having these terrible stomach cramps several times a day that make me double over. They only last for a few seconds, then they are over. Anyone ever had anything like this? I don't have any gas that follows or anything or even a BM.

I had that after a bout of food poisoning. Sharp stomach pain/cramps, short lived but severe. At least I think it was due to food poisoning - it was after I ate McDonald's on a rode trip but I didn't have any nausea or vomiting. If it continues, you should call your doc.

I had something like that some years ago - finally went to my doc. Turned out to be a virus which lasted about 10 days - this was like 18 years ago, but I still remember the discomfort. I think I basically took OTC stuff like Pepto Bismal and... just waited it out.

But do check with the doc - I would think that would put your mind at ease.

Did ur cramps go away after some weeks? I had poisonig too and im 11 days post infection and stool test show the bacteria is long gone but still have massive cramps after eating. Did it take a while for u too??

Up your probiotic dose for a few weeks and go on a restricted diet to see if it clears (chicken soap and easy to digest foods).

This could also be an early warning sign of a flare, but less likely if you don't see any blood or mucous.
