Canasa twice a day

Anyone on here take canasa twice a day permanently? I am on uceris pill and was on canasa twice a day for two weeks and then my dr wanted me to go down to one a day. I started doing that mondayand today i am constiapted but having stomach pains and alot of gas. I wondering if i shpuld go back to twice a day. What do you think?

I used canasa twice a day some decades back.

It helped me a lot.

Those are symptoms of rectal inflammation....and that includes stomach pains and lots of gas.

Definitely get back on them twice a day. I would suggest the enemas of 4g dosage.

I did them 2x a day for a long time. At a certain point I started doing enemas before bed and suppositories in the AM, but that was better for me. Do what works for you.

I mentioned the enemas and she that can be a possibilty but that i would use that in place of the canasa. I am hesitant to try the enemas because i have a hard time keep enemas in.

Just the fleet enemas but i couldbt keep it in more that 30 seconds. I did the uceris foam and ibhad alot of sude effects from them.

Ok...fleet is not a medicine to treat UC...it's to empty the rectum.

Please try the mesalamine enemas and don't compare the others to what you need at this time.

Get them asap...rowasa and 4gram dosage.
