Well back in the day, when I was a kid coke syrup was a home remedy for upset stomach, which might
have been a carry over from when it actually contained cocaine.
Anyhow regular coke is extremely acidic carbonic acid and phosphoric acid, which will increase
your stomach acidity,and help digest stuff in the stomach.
It seems to help dissolve phytobezor's which is a fiber mass that is not dissolved.
Perhaps you are low on stomach acid, and adding regular coke is helping out with digestion,
or all the excess acid is getting through and changing bowel ph.
