I have failed Azathioprine and Remicade is the next step but it will cost $$$$ here in the US. I am wondering how much it costs in Canada. Maybe its time to think of moving back.

Have you looked into RemiStart? I've used it, works well, and can pay $20,000 a year in copays/deductables.

I was on Remi about
10 years ago. I believe it was around $3000 per infusion. Between my insurance and compassionate pay it was covered. I've also been on Entyvio, Humira and now Stelara....I've had no issues paying for the meds between insurance and pharma compassionate pay in Canada.

I've been on Remicade for 4 years now and I live in the province of Quebec. with my insurance and Bio Advance paying for a good chunk of the remaining amount, it costs me 120$ every two months.

Thanks John! I have applied for the Remistart, which is much easier than moving, and hopefully that will do it, otherwise looking at about
$13K/year (which is our max out of pocket, treatments I estimate at around $5K per) which is a fairly large chunk of cash.
