I always had looseness with my loop. I had to really hydrate and I had trouble keeping weight on. I also had frequent leaks. Not leaks where I had to change immediately, but I could feel burning under the wafer, so I knew the wafer wasn't properly situated. I was never comfortable because I would have to change every time there was a stinging, and that was fairly often. Things get easier with the jpouch, but the loop, for me, was just a waiting game to get to takedown.
With my loop, I used electrolyte drops in my water to help with hydration. I definitely recommend using those. Look on amazon, or whatever retailer is convenient for you, there are a lot of options.
I am excited for the 2 of you to get reversed.
Remember, get yourself some sort of handheld bidet before takedown - you will need it. A friend of mine just turned me on to Ilex too, that really protects your skin. As for having anything come out, I feel like occasionally I had some stuff pass through my bag into my bottom with the loop, and I would have to pass it, but not all that often. it's not like when you have the end, and you're dealing with proctitis and you may have urge, or need to pass stuff every day.
