Juicing has been talked about a number of times over the years, you can do a forum search and I bet you'll get a bunch of hits. I guess the general premise is to limit the amount of food passing through the bowel to enable it to heal (a bowel rest like they do after surgeries). Certainly, while you are juicing, you will go less, as less input equals less output. However, many have seen their bm frequency jump again once they return to solid foods after finishing their juicing experiment. Can't hurt to try, if you're so inclined. Just have a backup plan should it fail, like upping your UC meds as a plan B.
