Healing from your UC flare and entering a remission is the best way to form up your stool.
If you're mostly healed, and just need a little more formation of your stool then consider a fiber supplement like citracal, Metamucil or crushed psyllium seed. They cannot turn water into solids, but they can slightly help form things up (slightly soft to hard).
Imodium is only good for occasional usage.
