Just kidding?

Last year my colonoscopy report said polyps and 'pre-cancerous neoplasms' and such all over it, but no specific recommendations other than to come back this year. This year I asked the doc about it and he said something like, "Oh yeah, that was incorrect." I guess he was right since I didn't die.

Has anyone else gotten that sort of report?

Ditto.....and have another c-scope asap.
Get a copy of that pathology report and post it here for feedback.

I am not sure if he said that his report to you was incorrect or if he said that you took an incorrect take on the report. "pre-cancerous neoplasm" is not something likely to be in a verbal report. It either was or was not in the last written report. maybe removed pylops were checked to detect precancerous neoplasms.

I would not enter into conspiracy thinking that there is intentional scare language just to get you to come back. usually these practices are full, and they frankly do not need your business to survive.

you can try to get greater resolution on what was and was not written and said. you can just focus on the current report, or both. the easiest course if you can feel trust fr you current doc. If you can't, then it may be worth the work and cost to get a new doc.
