Normal bowel movements.

I all just at the end of a flare. Been on predfoam for past two weeks along with my other meds. Bleeding has completely stopped, and having about 4 bowel movements a day. Which are loose and soft not diarrhea. Was wondering has anyone else ever been like this? And can I ever expect to have normal bowel movements again.

Yes, and yes. There are many discussions here about the space between managed w/o urgency but not 100% like before. Some do have lasting GI distress even after inflammation is completely gone. Some have excellent response to meds and initial long remissions.

Hopefully you will continue t see improvements. The real test is maintaining or improving after all steroids are withdrawn.

It's part of healing and depends on where the inflammation is limited up to. 4 bms a day...still flaring. I wouldn't say at the end of a flare.....I would say healing and quite a way to go yet.

What other meds?

All normal part of healing.....
Welcome to the learning curve. Remember this once you are in remission and changes start to happen....nudging you that inflammation has reared once again 🤑

With 4 bms a day, you still have a moderate to mild flare going on. Remission is visible on the horizon, but you still have a quite a slog and journey to get there. Yes, having normal bms is common during a remission but you gotta be inflammation-free (or at least mostly-free) to get those. When you're inflamed, diarrhea, and various forms of semi-solids are common. There's no knowing when you'll reach that destination, varies quite wildly, could be weeks, months or more. Internal healing is a frustratingly slow process taking months.
