Well I'm working with contractor friend on big commercial job here in NY.On my jobs I'm helping my guys set up things and keep guys supplied with whats needed etc etc.Well being I'm a worker now I'm focused on getting things done.On commercial jobs its estimated by Sq Ft and production is the key word[although any job needs good production].Boy i felt what its like not having a colon yesterday,i kept water, iced tea with me but it kicked my butt some. The workout was good BUT need to manage liquid intake especially once summer comes. All in All having surgery had to be done and has been great.Didn't have a BM til i got home from work both yesterday and today so life is good.Be well all

That sounds great. I love how positive you are. I have my moments where I feel down, but overall, I am so thankful to be done with the drugs, doctors, and illness in general. I am happy you're feeling the same way

Sounds like great progress to me. Definitely stay hydrated, maybe stick to Gatorade or other drinks containing electrolytes to help?

I had my final Jpouch surgery in February 2015. I still drink a gaterade zero or powerade zero everyday just to keep up and I sit at a desk at all day. I would definitely consider it since you do a lot of physical work particularly as the weather gets warmer. If I don't eat and drink consistently throughout the day, I pay for it with many bathroom trips. My j-pouch likes consistency. LOL. Glad to hear you are doing so well.

It's first time since last surgery that I'm moving constantly. When I'm doing my jobs I have opportunity to stop and go a lot. Never would eat breakfast when I had UC bc I didn't want any surprise BMs too early in day. Now it might be where I have to eat something before work. Was getting lightheaded. Have had that feeling from playing sports. Little scary but looks like we need to learn a different way about
going about
our work day and eating/drinking. Hernia surgery March 7th.
