Hello everyone,
I had my last dose of prednisone on sunday. Since the past 3 days ive had on and off itching especially behind the ear and around my neck plus my skin turns red. Has anyone experienced this as a withdrawal symptom? Anything that helped to stop the itching?!?

I didn’t think anything of it until I just read your post. I’ve been scratching behind my ear and the back of my neck, mostly around the hairline, for the last few days. I’m down to 5mg and finish on Tuesday. I’m going to have a look into this now

It's possible to get acne, and rashes due to the pred. Try showering at a non scalding shower temp. Toweling off and immediately putting on a non scented moisturizer safe for psorasis on the itchy areas. You might want to try a safe for psorasis soap and shampoo, your pharmacist can assist you in finding some.
