Isatis cool alternative

Hello!

I've been taking isatis cooling for many years with great results. Recently I haven't been able to find it for sale anywhere. So I've lowered my dosage to stretch out what I have. Well, within a few days my symptoms are starting to come back (mucus, and today blood).

I'm honestly freaking out a little, and getting a little desperate. Does anyone know of good alternatives I could try until I can find some Isatis Cooling?

Sorry to hear this. So not ideal right now. First of all, I would call a local acupuncture/chinese medicine clinic near you and ask if they have isatis cooling or can order it for you. They are able to create herbs and have special pharmacies they use. Since you responded to herbs, they could even create a special formula for you for UC that is unique to you if they can't get a hold of isatis cooling. Since you responded well to herbal formula I would go this route.

Use the search feature for other natural approaches mentioned on the listserve, including probiotics, diets, Low dose nalxtroxene (LDN), and other supplements (slippery elm, curcumin are often used).

My understanding is that is the same as Qing Dai. I order mine from Accupuncture of Atlanta. It is a powder/granule, and I put it into capsules I get from Amazon. It's only $20 there. I have seen big results myself from it, so I understand.
