Bleeding from a single spot?

Hi there. about month ago my UC went nice downglide slide, pain in sigmoid, then mucus, then bleeding, fatigue etc. Started to have urgency and 4-5 BM per day. One thing I noticed was also that one particular spot in sigmoid hurts more than others.

I upped mesalazine significantly, added rectal mesalazine enema, added indigo naturlis, boswellia, quercetin etc. and most of my symptoms started to wean off. At this point there's no more urgency, pain in sigmoid has disappeared, no more mucus. But the one thing that keeps me bothering is bleeding. Though it has reduced significantly, I still have this one rather bigger blood clot with each BM which insists that there is one particularly larger bleeding spot.

There are days when it seems that it's about to end and then the next day again I see the clot appearing. Obviously this makes me nervous and stress definitely is not the thing that allows to heal faster. I am thinking about colonoscopy (last one was 2,5 years ago) but it's not that easy to get one at this point due to long waiting lists.

So I was wondering if anyone has had similar experience with such bleeding that seems to be mostly single larger bleeding spot that produces clot-like blood? I really hope it's not some bleeding polyp or something.

What works for me (but might not work for you) during flareups is as follows:

1) low-fat low-protein high-carb diet (white bread w/ honey during the day and/or boiled rice w/ curcumin and olive oil and some boiled veggies for the big meal)
2) escalate oral mesalamine (2x1000 mg per day on empty stomach)
3) rectal mesalamine suspension over night (4 g / 60 ml)
4) boswellia serrata extract (2x250 mg per day)
5) indigo naturalis (1x500 mg but watch your liver markers)
6) quercetin (2x500 mg per day)
7) omega-3 and flaxseed oil (double the RDD)
8) niacin 50 mg (watch out for flushing)
9) high quality probiotics (like vivomixx, visbiome, vsl3 etc)
10) try to have enough sleep

The diet might seem the hardest part for some but actually it's important to keep it tightly controlled during these few days. The logic behind low-fat low-protein is that UC'ers usually have altered microbiota composition with higher proportions of sulfur-reducing bacteria which feed on protein and produce hydrogen sulfide).
