Hi, Can I use long term budesodine enema? Does it thin the bowel walls?

What is long-term specifically to your question?
I would say yes it's a side effect, considering that's what steroids do.

Budesodine is generally used for 4 to 6 weeks, Can I use for instance 1 year to try to control the flare?

You mean daily or tapered to a maintenance?

It is to control the flare, but flare can take long time to control, I am already one year flaring.

What did your GI say about it? You cannot use Mesalamine?
