Low Grade Fever Accompanying Flare

What does a low grade fever mean, say 99.1, or even 99.8 at night if experiencing a flare?

I have experienced this during my first flare up and it was just my body telling me to slow down. However my doctor had a stool culture done to rule out any sort of bacterial infection.

No one here can say for sure, but I would certainly visit my GI - or the ER if it increases. High inflammation or infection can be causes, but just bear in mind: temperatures under 100° are generally still within the normal range (our temp. changes throughout the day). Other symptoms your experiencing might be what's more important.

low grade fevers are pretty common - i would just keep an eye on it for a bit and if it starts to increase, definitely get it checked out -

Absolutely and I would only get them at night.
