Re-entering Humira

Hello folks, because of insurance issues, I've been w/o Humira for 6 weeks.
Has anyone here paused Humira and then gone back to their "maintenance" dose or did you have to inject the starter dose again?
My healthcare provider is a nurse practitioner and doesn't have any experience with this medication, so I'm kinda on my own here.

I’m on the the drug but that doesn’t mean I know anything about it.

I skipped one dose for a tooth extraction and picked right back up where I left off without issue. Six weeks is getting on out there. You could call the specialty pharmacy who fills your script and speak directly to the pharmacist. There’s also a number in the Humira insert. Even though it’s for enrollment in that patient support program they were still able to help me (on that line) with a question about some that I’d left out in the sun. 800-448-6472.

Half-life is 2 weeks. So when I take a shot it means the dose is halfway out of my body every time I take a shot. How many doses have you missed? If only 2 (6 weeks) I’d think just start up where you left it. I wouldn’t think missing 2 doses would put so many antibodies in your system that it won’t just keep right on working. If it’s working now…I’d think it’s fine.
