Sometimes I get nausea from stress. Or there was a period a few years ago where I was nauseated every morning after breakfast, and it would slowly dissipate. It is miserable.
Things that help me: peppermint (although peppermint is tricky because it can relax the sphincter and increase heartburn/reflux, so I have to stay away from it now), ginger (ginger tea, ginger candies with real ginger in them, crystallized ginger), deep breaths, breathing in clove essential oil or peppermint essential oil. Also, making sure I don't let my stomach get too empty. And when I was pregnant with awful morning sickness, those sea bands acupressure wristbands helped some.
