Wooky, I didn't think you were profit modivated and thanks for sharing. My skeptisism peaked with your statement "all the nutrients of plants"--sorry, but that statement requires more explanation for me. I know chlorophyll is what plants use to convert CO2 and H20 into carbohydrates or food--the photosynthesis process. I am extremely skeptical that companies are selling chlorophyll for humans as cure-alls. I'm skeptical but
open for a logical explanation. I'd like to know how it stopped your pain within 1/2 hour of drinking it (that's not really enough time for it to reach your colon so it would have to work systemically. Unless the product you are taking has a pain reliever in it I conclude that your pain relief may be from a placebo effect. This is not bad, if it works for you then glad to hear it. Some are helped by yoga as well.
These chlorophyll extractions come mostly from alfalfa which provides some nutrition but it's not the best nutritional plant source for humans. Alfalfa is mostly used to feed cattle because it provides a lot of food at a minimal cost. How much nutrition it has depends on how it's grown (soil, fertilizer, etc.). Since we already have plently of other green vegetables that taste much better and provide even more chlorophyll and other vitamins and minerals I see no reason to buy this product just based on anecdotal evidence of it helping someone named wooky on a health forum (no offense to you).
To answer your question I am two years into a remission but have started to take some probiotics and am looking for more stuff to try as over the last 10 years I don't stay in remission longer than a few years. What usually happens is I get sick with some virus then 2-3 weeks later I start a flare. I figure I'll use stuff that shows reasonable evidence of helping. I've been burned a lot on gimmics (SCD just about killed me--I was really sold on that one after reading the book and all the testimonials).
Thanks.
