Here I was sitting on the couch, resting and watching the evening news when the photo I submitted to the local news station (the Weather pics section) shows up on the tv!  I had my 3 mintues of fame!  I didn't even bother to have them say my last name which they would probably butcher anyway so I only submitted my first name and all the news casters gave me kudos for the pic.  Hehe!

Here is the picture - it was taken on my last trip up north to the river a few weeks ago.  What you don't see if all of us wearing shorts and sweating our tushes off - very odd to see the colors change and we are wearing shorts!

No I haven't seen him around lately and I sure miss his photos! In fact, he was the one to inspire me to try to catch nature in photos.

So beautiful! Funny thing is that you are having the warm weather, and us the cool. I bet it felt odd to have your shorts on looking at the fall colors!

No it was on Fox2 that they showed the pic. They have a My Photo segment every evening and I got lucky :)
