A couple of things, one it's snowing here in northern michigan! Yikes it's too soon!
I'm going to a retreat where they cook your meals (5 night/6 day) all natural, no preservatives, colors or dyes. You can ask for gluten free and dairy free all week long. I want to see if diet has a lot to do with the symptoms. There's other accommadations as well. It's called the Kerr House and they only take 8 people at a time. It's suppose to be very theraputic. It's been in numerous magazines and on Good Morning America for being one of the top spas.
I'm noticing some symptoms now being off the medication. It's been a month, but you wrote (Harpo) you do seem to be worse when you get off the anti inflammatories and what, you hope that your body corrects itself? I hope so too. I met with my natural path on Monday so I will see what he recommends. Harpo what symptoms are you experiencing now? I'm a little freaked about the post where if you don't control the inflammation your at higher risk for colon cancer.
My friend who's been on pentasa for a year and half is now down to taking 2 pills a day per doctors order, still have long skinny stools and some urgency. So he's in what you call remission? I can't believe basically you never go back to normal fat dryish stools with no urgency? This sucks and I can't accept that. It's so funny and I post where I see my dog go poo, poo and I say "pookie, mommmy only wished she had a nice turd like that" He looks like, what lady...you're weird quit looking at my butt and give me some privacy!
