Doctor Put Me On 6MP ~~~ My UC Is Not Getting Better. Any Advise For 6MP Never Used It.

Sorry to hear that. Your doc should be monitoring your blood levels periodically while you're trying 6mp.

I hope the new med has you feeling better soon. You're definitely going through the whole gamut of treatment. Are you still on pred and Asacol?

As for surgery...I don't think it's a bad option if all else is failing.

Keep us posted as to how you're doing.

Yes, I'm On Everything Listed Below. Thank You & I Hope To Feel Better To But Now I Have A Cold. :( So I Don't Know If I Should Call My Doctor And Get An More Meds. For My Cold. Any Advice?

Sorry you are not doing any better. I have been on Imuran (similar to 6mp) since April of last year. It took awhile to kick in but it has definitely helped.

You could do a search at the top of the page by 6mp. There are lots of posts on it. Also can you limit your signature to 10 lines or less per forum rules?

I'm very sorry about my signature as you can see now, i've change it. And i will check out the pages on 6mp. I hope this helps cause i'm really scared about taking Remicaid.

Signature looks great....it just helps cut down on space. The key for immune suppresents is you have to give them time to work. Being patient is not so easy when you are in the bathroom all day!
