Hi Evie,
I am pretty new here, I joined a couple of days ago, it is a great forum. Congratulations! I know it is scary being pregnant with UC, I have done it twice. Last pregnancy I was on Asacol 2 pills 3x a day and that's all. I even got a sigmoidoscopy while pregnant. Some people go into remission during pregnancy, unfortunatley I wasn't one of them, but I wasn't that bad. With both pregnancies I had a lot of constipation, and I would get so backed up that after a big meal, I would get very ill from both ends. Not good. Try to stay regular. Both my babies were very low, (I wonder if that was from the colon spasms and the pushing the bms or just a coincidence?) I carried both to full term, actually I was induced with the 1st one, 2nd came right on time. They are both healthy boys! The last few months were very tough, all that pressure on the organs was tough. I had heartburn the entire last month and had to sleep upright the whole time, although I think that could happen to anybody. I hope you can go into remission and stay in it! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
