It sounds like the inside of your colon is a mess! The watery part is because the colon is so injured that it can't absorb fluids like it should. The blood from the ulcers that aren't healing.
It's going to take some time to heal because it is so damaged.
Prednisone will help control the inflammation - it has awful side effects, however, one of them is weight gain from the pred munchies! You will need a 5ASA - Asacol, Colazal, Pentasa, etc. If Colazal didn't work for you (didn't work for me either) you need to try another.
I recommend enemas as well. Talk to your GI about them. You'll probably need steroid (Hydrocort) and 5ASA (Rowasa).
Make sure you're getting enough nutrients. There are some "shakes" that are specially designed for IBDers. I want to say it's called Nestle Modulen - but could be wrong. Vitamins - if you can handle them. I suggest Forvia because it's specially designed for IBDers. They have a chewable too.
Let us know how the visit with the doc goes :) Hang in there!
