Need advice

going for a second colonopscopy tommorrow had one last month in another hospital.

It seems that my whole colon is flarred. I have been been on IV steroids for a few days around the clock no help.

They might sugguest remicade or another medication where they do a shot and I take pills for the rest of my life but I forget the name of that.

I personally do not want remicade because I don't want to spend the rest of my life taking injections and eventually I would want sugurery.

I know I have only been diagnosed a month but the symptoms have gotten worse. I have lost blood and weight and and I don't know what do do.

hello feelfine, sorry you are in the hospital and going through all this. There are other drugs out there to try, 6-MP, Imuran, Humira (is that the one you forgot the name of?), Prograf, Remicade.

I'm not sure why you would prefer surgery to going on remicade but it's a personal decision. I would try remicade before surgery, you can always have surgery later on but this might help you right now and and you can try it and decide if surgery is what you really want.
