hyperbaric treatment anyone

hyperbaric treatment- i think i asked before but i'm putting it out there again because i've read some articles where it's been used for chrons and i'm wondering if anyone knows anyone who has tried this for uc or chron's.-thanks

PLEASE, I've never heard of it, which doesn't mean it isn't true. Your daughter's going to a major IBD center; if there's anything to it, they should know. You may want to ask them about it.

I had never heard of it but a google search came up with lots of articles and published studies for crohn's and colitis.

I am so glad you asked this, I was wondering the same thing yesterday. After reading that article out of Ireland that was posted here, I immediately thought about the hyperbaric chamber.

Unfortunately, I haven't used one before, but I do know that it can be quite expensive. I wonder if the breathing treatments that other have posted about would work just the same?

Like I posted before - it's all in getting the oxygen into your cell - deeply. You can do it yourself or pay for it. If you google the basic oxycise deep breathing, yo can do it whenever you think about it during the day. It's a specific process for forcing the oxygen deep into your belly.
