my sister lipgloss had her surgery today

hi guys you all know lipgloss she had her op today, i went to see her shes on morphine for her pain, which she is in alot, she has bad back pain does anyone know why that would be, and is there anything stronger then morphine she can have

Elisha, back pain is really common after abdominal surgery. We don't think about it much, but our intestines are attached to a membrane that holds them in place. Disturbing that membrane can cause some pretty severe pain.

Please talk to her doctor or the nurses if she isn't getting adequate pain relief. The goal is to prevent as much pain as possible because this helps people to heal better. At the same time, they don't want to sedate her too much, because if she doesn't turn occasionally and take deep breaths, she could get pneumonia from lying still for too long. But talk to the nurses about her pain control.
