So these past several days I've been having stomach pain and increased acid reflux. I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on because I'm on Prilosec and it usually does a pretty good job of controlling the acid. So I go to refill my pill organizer and wouldn't you know it??? I forgot to put my Prilosec in the the compartments! The only reason I knew I forgot was because I looked in Sundays dose and it wasn't there. It's one of those times I wanted to slap myself on the forehead! LOL Too many pills to keep track of geez!

I know the feeling Sherry! I always stand there looking at my pills trying to figure out if I've put them all in. This gives me an idea that maybe I should put a sticker on the back of it with how many pills and what kind I need to take every morning and night

Hey I like the sticker idea! I should do that because I too look at my pill organizer and try to think if I got everything in there. I remember a few days ago, I went to take my morning dose and I stood staring at my pills because something JUST did not look right lol.......ah well - live and learn eh?

LOL, I take so many pills in the morning, I separate them into groups - two groups of six and one group of three. If a group comes up short, I know something's wrong. (Three large and three small is about
what I can swallow in one gulp.)
Sometimes I feel like I must have Alzheimers, I can't even recite my meds and dosages any more. I carry a list in my billfold!

Usually I take 3 Colazal, a probiotic, a vitamin, biotin and prilosec in one swallow so normally I don't even glance at the pills. Guess I should start huh? And no Dawn, we can be idiots together! LOL

I sometimes cannot remember if I took my pills at certain times so I take them and I'm likely doubling up but luckily because I only take natural stuff it's not an issue...it's frustrating though, makes you feel old when you can't remember if you took some pills or not.

Sometimes I can't remember if I've taken mine yet or not, either and I'm only 24...so don't feel old, pb4! I need to get one of those pill organizers.

LOL..I think anything we do daily sometimes seems we've done it anyway when we haven't..especially when we remember to take pills and then forget to take them, because it seems we did when we didnt'...see how confusing it is..lol!
The organisers definitely help me.

Ha! That's exactly why I got my organizer - BUT it only works when you REMEMBER to put the right pills in! LOL Oh yeah, I forgot to report that my acid reflux and stomach pain are now gone again.

great to hear the reflux pain has gone after taking your meds again.
Set up a day to refill them, such as Sunday evening.

I do have a set day. I refill them every Monday when the kids are at school so they don't distract me. I do both mine and my gma's at the same time. Guess my heads were in the clouds that last time I refilled it!

Considering your busy and lots-of-things-happening-with-your-health life, it's easy to get distracted.
I remember when I was doing my vitamins....I have them in the cupboard in order. I do three vitamin C (AM and PM) and then one multi-vitamin (for the AM)...etc.
I was putting three multi instead of the C....thankfully I noticed the difference in colour....because 6 multi a day wouldn't have been good..lol!
