I also altered my diet, no more junk, processed foods/beverages, processed sugars, animal fats, caffeine, as these things can exacerbate IBD symptoms. It was well worth it too, ontop of exercising regularly and the above mentioned that I take along with a healthy diet (not to be confused with a "balanced" diet) I look and feel better all around.
