Any opinions or advice is welcome!!

How long have you been taking the Nexium? I had a lot of the same symptoms as you. Nexium really helped me. If you are feeling that bad you should call your GI. Keep us posted. Oh when are you taking your Imuran? I switched mine to nighttime b/c it was making me nauseous during the day.

I had problems with the colazal. No problems on 6 a day, then went up to 9, and am nauseaus a lot. Got even worse when I switched to generic. Switched back to name brand and am slowly feeling better. Could be that.

I am always nauseas. My Gi can't figure out why. I do have acid reflux but am on protinix for it. We have switched around all my meds but no results. I have tried compazine but that didn't work. Now i take zofran every six hours. It helps some.
Let me know if your doc thinks of anything else!!

Nausea seems to be a common complaint. I blame most of mine on my GERD and the rest on my UC. I will take Dramamine on occasion when it's bad and I need to get stuff done; however, it's not something that you want to take often as your body can get hooked on it.
Are you flaring? Nausea can be worse when flaring.
The middle-of-the-night wake up makes me think acid reflux as well...
I understand how miserable that is - I hope you find a solution soon!

I would suspect the prednisone. I used to get nauseous every afternoon while I was on it. Ginger is known to do wonderful things in treating nausea. I used to sip on a cold can of ginger ale every afternoon and it really seemed to help.
Good Luck!
James
