Okay,I've had a couple of drinks and,coupled with the fact I see the mighty QR here in the UK on June 24,I'm getting a little excited!Anyone familiar with the band,even if not a fan,will connect my username with them.

So for the first time ever,in the history of touring the UK,they will be doing the full theatrical presentation of the Mindcrime saga(video screens,actors,full lighting rig etc).

I feel a connection with many of you here,as a result of the old UC.I'm now hoping to find a connection with a few of you for much happier reasons!

Anyone here not familiar with Queensryche,but curious enough to ask,will find me only too happy to answer your questions,in a bid to create a worldwide EMPIRE!

It's nice to be able to look forward to something huh? I knew where your screen name came right when I saw it. I don't know many other queensryche songs, but that is one of my favorite songs of any band.
My only other connection is that there from the Seattle area, as am I :)
I suck at guitar and singing though.

James,thanks for your response!I'm definitely going to make it out to the Seattle area some day,but not just for the QR connection.West Coast America appeals to me so much,I once did a coach tour from LA(in a loop!)to LA,taking in Palm Springs,Grand Canyon,Vegas and the greatest of all,Yosemite!

You live on such a great piece of land,I really do envy you devil

I'm from Seattle too....born & bred : )

I don't have any connection to Queensryche, but I have had sorta weird associations with other Seattle rockers. I am good friends with Layne Staley's grandparents, my brother used to go fishing with Chris Cornell and I am a shirtstring relation to the Wilson sisters. I also used to run into Kurt Cobain at the time at a club called Romper Room. It's all pretty chummy around here, well, it used to be.

Mike McCready of Peal Jam has chrons, so he is always doing charity gigs around here for "the cause".

I used to date a guy in a band about 10 years ago and I was really amazed how often bands either re-form, rename themselves or just swap drummers or lead singers. It used to be that singers up here were a dime a dozen; the hard folks to find were drummers! Everyone wants to be a star....
