I am compiling a list of websites/blogs about UC for my NYT writing. If anyone wants to contribute, please tell me your favorite websites either for a) reliable info about UC or b) good perspective on coping with UC. Thanks. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Proudly. I'm of Ashkenaz ic descent which is one of the contributing factors towards developing IBS/IBD. One thing it does is swim in the Ashkenaz Eastern European gene pool. My grandfather has it and I know lotsa people with IBS/Crohn's/Colitis.

Definately Healingwell! Peter Waite, the owner and administrator is always up for free publicity :) But as a courtesy you should email him. [email protected] And of course there is www.ccfa.org - this is an important one since that website also raises money that goes toward research in finding a cure.

http://www.dragonpack.com/ibdsupport/parents/ Is a wonderful site for parents of children with IBD (we are not, but many of the families are Jewish). I don't know if you'd need permission to list that site due to the children mentioned on the board. MiSFiT is the forum leader.

Will your article cover UC in children? Feel free to contact me if you would like to know anything about life with 2 kids with IBD and I'm sure many of the mother's at Dragon Pack would be willing to share. There are some there with infants with UC. Can you imagine potty training with UC?
