I've just started taking some probiotic supplements daily. I've noticed a big increase in gas? Is this normal when you being taking probiotics in the beginning? Will you get a lot of gas which will then settle down? Is it like beginning a fibre supplement in that sense?
Also are there different probiotics for different parts of the GI tract and if so what works best for the colon? For what its worth I've begun taking Acidophilius and L. Casei.
