My 15 month old with C Diff

I looked around but couldn't find any info really on here about C. Diff. Is there anyone else here that is dealing with a child, baby, or toddler with C. DIff? I need some....well...not sure!! HELP! Advice! Information?

Please if you have dealt with this it would really be a blessing to talk with someone.

My little man is 15 months old. He has had c diff since he was 6 months old. He goes back and forth with it. He has been on Flagyll and now on vancomycin. But now they want to do the colonoscopy and the endoscopy to check for ulcers. I know about UC due to the fact that my husband has it as does his mother. But there is a difference between an adult and a little guy getting this procedure done!

Again, if anyone can be of help...let me know!!!

I hope your little guy is feeling better very soon. C. diff can be really hard to clear up, unfortunately. Keep us posted, and we'll keep your son in our prayers.

Is it definitely c diff? The only reason I say that is one of my closest friend's son (14 months) had chronic diarhea and they just figured out he has a gluten allergy.

Hang in there and definitely ck out the site Judy suggested.
