I'm sure he won't mind. Here is his email:
I am still in the nursing facility, having surgery on my foot to remove the persistent MRSA bacteria, which infected my right foot after diabetic charkot surgery. I can't get out of bed yet, and it will be another 2 months before I can start walking/standing therapy.
I am sooooo looking forward to going home - but I guess I have to take one day at a time. I am trying to figure out what lesson I have to learn from this tribulation - it has been over 3 months since hospitalization started.
My days are filled with TV (yuk), Netflix, and now the computer. It took me a long time to be able just to sit up and type.
Please say hello to all the wonderful people at healingwell for me. I miss them.
Love to All

Oh, my heart goes out to him! He's really fighting for those legs, I don't know if I'd be that determined. Please give him my best, and I hope his recovery proceeds without further complications.

Thanks for letting us know about
Bob, Tab. I'm sure he really is anxious to get back home. I wonder how his wife is holding up?

I'm so glad to hear this... Not that he's having problems, but that he's still alive and well! I was really getting concerned... MRSA is such a pain... We have at least one person a week lately come in for surgery at my work with MRSA. I hope they are able to get everything taken care of and get him on his way to a complete recovery. He's been through so much, and this board is just not the same without him!!

Bob probably doesnt know me well but I read numerous posts by him in the past year that have been helpful. I wish him the best recovery and its good to see he is doing a little better. It just goes to show how much healingwell helps us all and we provide support for each other. Thanks for the update.
