We all need a certain amount of stress to function at our peak....just not a constant amount, because it'll have a reverse effect.
Remember that strenuous exercise over and above what your body can endure will trigger autoimmune responses. Moderation is definitely something to keep in mind. Extreme exercise doesn't mean it's better.
Stress...I have taken antianxiety meds on occasion, but they do promote more depression for me if I've taken them too often. I am on an antidepressant (low dosage).
Trying to get myself more organised and set achievable goals over and above my scheduled appointments...but for a procrastinator, it's difficult..lol! I need a lot of downtime. I like to stretch and leap, but within my abilities.
I suggest to not set goals that you cannot achieve, but to allow yourself many options, set up a good support (emotional or general duties, etc), allow time for yourself/down-time..etc.
Therapy helped me a lot....but general stress and distress where I do have control are different than those in which I don't.
Some natural remedies can promote more anxiety and can also conflict with other meds....just do your homework/research.
Try to keep things in perspective. Not an easy task, however...life always tends to be one step ahead..
Experiment, allow yourself to change your mind, and try to never see yourself as a failure...
It's great you're exercising...I'm working on it and feel better when I do...that's where I do need to "stretch"..lol!
