Hair loss - anybody in the same boat as me??

I know there have been hair loss postings before which I have now read. Before I din't even read them as they didn't apply to (selfish I know) but now that I am experiencing it I know how distressing it can be. I have experienced it before when taking steroids but with my last flare I am taking steroids and azathioprine and experiencing a lot of hair loss. Down to 5mg pred but now tummy not so good and doc wants to increase steroid again but I am so worried re hair loss trying to get things under control with predsol.  Has anybody that experienced hair loss ended up with bald patches or the like or just ended up with very thin hair. The amount of hair I'm losing every day freaks me out and I keep thinking that 3 weeks down the line I'm not going to have any left. Spending most of the day in tears stressing about it which I'm sure won't be doing my colon any good.
