How long does it take for Prednisone to start working?

It's taken me a solid 3 and a half weeks of 40mg Prednisone to finally start seeing a difference. This is my first flare. Ugh, so jealous of all you people who see results in a week or two..

It usually takes about 5-6 hours before prednisone starts removing gout symptoms for me so I'd think that healing would begin about then.
