I use a gluten free diet, I don't have Celiacs, but when I eat regular bread, or or anything containing large amounts of wheat or wheat flour I tend to get bloated and feel a bit nauseous. Since swiching to gluten free, I just don't get this anymore.
My specialist said there is no real scientific evidence to back this up, but, he also said if it works for you, you're not going to do yourself any harm by cutting out gluten.
There are so many gluten free products available now, its not hard to cut it out at all, and when you dine out, it's pretty easy to pick meals that don't have wheat in.
