please help

Can anyone please tell me, if you are in a flare, when you go to the bathroom is the poop (eeww sorry) look like inflammation, im so scared im headed for another flare, should i call the doc.

when i go to the bathroom, my poop looks like kinda of white and stringy almost like inflammation. poop almost like when you have colonscopy prep. I hope i wrote this ok

I have that a lot but I think it's mostly mucous, which is usually a sign of inflammation/a flare.

thanks, ediekristen, that was the word i was looking for. so i guess ill just hang in and see how bad it gets, any suggestions if i should take any meds or not. i have finished my entocort.

It does sound like mucus caused by the start of a flare and you should try to meet with your GI soon rather than hang in and see because your intestinal walls could become more damaged the longer you wait, trust me, I've been there.
