I went to my new gastroenterologist today. She was really good and seemed to really care about what I was going through. She said she couldn't correctly say which medications I should be on because she hasn't seen what's all going on inside. So I have a colonoscopy in two weeks. FUN! haha

I was on Lialda... and she said since I only was on 2 pills a day... she'd up it to the max 4 a day. She also gave me Canasa Suppositories.. so I can't wait to see if those help.

She also wanted to get bloodwork done and a stool sample. She was very thorough and that makes me happy. I was very pleased with this practice. YAY!

Glad to hear it went well. Wish I could find one I liked.

Saw a new one a few weeks ago and same story; he wanted a colonoscopy to see for himself. Apparently all the reports from a year ago aren't good enough. . . . The cynic in me wishes they would just come clean: "I need $1,500 from your insurance company before I can recommend you take the same drugs you've been taking all along."
