Just heard from Dr that more blood work tomorrow. Checking all liver function, SED rate and CRP. The SED rate and CRP are "regular", haven't had a liver function level yet. Wondering if the onslaught of acid reflux symptoms is driving the Dr to schedule this? Prevacid, Prednisone, Lialda and Purinethol (6mp) for 4 months.

Regular liver function tests will most likely be done as long as you're on 6-MP, as it can have side effects on the liver. Also, we're more susceptible to primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a serious liver condition, and it's good to keep a check on liver function.

im a pin cushion for needles.
ive had so much blood work done over last 2 years its amazing i dont have heroine addict arms.

the meds we are on require monitoring hence lots of blood tests.
