The septic company man came. He says the system was put in wrong. Instead of one straight pipe connecting house to tank, the installers just used whatever they had on the truck and we have zig-zags where they used 90 degree elbow joints. Things don't flow well through zig-zags. Then, the landscaper who laid down the grass when the house was new 6 years ago ran over the whole thing with a bulldozer and made a "V" out of the whole zig-zag mess. The man who came out has seen it all before and told us this.
It turns out this kind of thing is a big deal. The health department gets involved. The building company that builds these houses has also sprung into action.
It is my 28 yo son's house. He supports me and struggles to pay my tremendouse health care premiums and all the stuff my insurance doesn't cover. He has had to pay hundreds this morning and more later today when they come to fix the zig-zags. But the man who came out says something like this happened last week and the builder had to pay the whole cost. Everybody think good thoughts for the best son in the world who doesn't deserve this.
