i know, i know. this isn't normally our problem. and it hasn't been mine until just recently.
i'm very near the end of my pregnancy and feel like the baby just dropped into my pelvis 2 days ago. that night my bowels emptied which is unusual for me (so i thought i was going to start labor). the next day (yesterday) i didn't go at all, which isn't all that strange if i've had a large, late in the day BM. but then this morning i woke up in pain, had a BM and am still pretty tender (feeling almost like gas pain).
so far my UC has been super steady thru this whole pregnancy. but i don't really want to do the skip a day/wake up in pain the next day routine if i can help it.
so what can i do to help things move regularly? i'm already doing fiber with each meal.
