I've been away for six weeks without a computer and missed everyone at this forum. We went up to the mountains of PA to get out of this Florida heat. Just before we went north my new doc put me on IMURAN. I'm still tappering off of Entocort, have about a week to go on that and I still take the Asacol. The IMURAN has really helped me. I can go out of my house now without worrying where the nearest restroom is. I have not had a flare up since the end of June. That's the longest I've gone without a flare. I have a bm maybe once or sometimes twice a day. I walk out of the bathroom with a smile on my face. Only those with poopy problems could appreciate that. To me it's reason for celebration. So far the only side effects I'm feeling is being tired, I mean really tired and loss of appetite which I really can't afford. Hopefully as i adjust to this med those side effects will pass. I know I have to have my blood checked every so often. Had that done the beginning of Aug. and it came back fine. I go back to the doc this coming Wed. so I'll see what he has to say. You've always been there for me when I was feeling so poorly so it's nice to be able to share some good news. Thanks guys. Arlene
